A Showroom Reimagined: Our First Dinner Party with Scratch Cook Social

At Mazon Interiors, we have always believed a showroom should be more than a place to view interiors.

It should be a place to experience them.

Recently, our showroom took on a new role. In collaboration with Scratch Cook Social, led by chef Raj Darji we hosted our first private dinner party. An intimate evening designed to bring together thoughtful food, great wine, and a carefully curated group of guests.

For one evening, the showroom was reimagined.

1. A kitchen brought to life

A kitchen is not meant to sit quietly behind perfect styling. It is meant to be used.

Throughout the evening, guests watched as dishes were prepared in the kitchen and on the Asado grill outside. The cooking became part of the experience, allowing everyone to see the space functioning exactly as it was designed to.

Seven courses were prepared across the indoor kitchen and outdoor cooking area, creating a natural rhythm between preparation, serving, and dining.

It was a reminder that great kitchens are made for gathering.

2. Food that creates connection

Scratch Cook Social brought their ingredient led approach to the evening, preparing dishes that felt thoughtful, seasonal, and full of character.

But what truly shaped the evening was the atmosphere around the table. Conversations unfolded naturally between courses as guests connected over shared experiences, new introductions, and the simple pleasure of a beautifully prepared meal.

It was a perfect reflection of what kitchens are ultimately about.

3. Wine pairings that elevated the experience

Each course was paired with wine selected and introduced by Nish Kotecha of Myliko International Wines.

Guests were guided through each pairing, learning how different wines complement flavours and enhance the dining experience. It added another thoughtful layer to the evening and created moments of discovery alongside the food.

4. A showroom designed to be lived in

Mazon Interiors was designed to feel more like a home than a traditional showroom. Hosting this dinner party allowed guests to experience the space as it was intended, with cooking, conversation, and connection at its centre.

It was a pleasure to welcome everyone who joined us for the evening. We look forward to hosting many more dinners like this at Mazon Interiors.
